Human papilloma, treatment and prevention

Doctors prescribe treatment for human papilloma

Human papillomavirus (HPV) is one of the most common viruses in the world. Infects the skin and causes growth on it. Skin lesions may be sharp, flat or dull, protrude from the surface or penetrate the skin.

HPV is also called a wart virus. The development of warts can be single or multiple, like cauliflower. They can affect any part of the body, including the genitals (pointed nipples). Certain types of infection, such as human papillomavirus 16, can lead to cancer, especially cervical cancer.

The human papilloma can be present in the body for years and cause no external symptoms. Having appeared on the surface of the skin, papillomas can disappear on their own, without any treatment and pain, however, this does not happen immediately, but within, for example, six months.

Human papilloma, disease prevention

Warts are contagious, they are transmitted through contact with infected skin, papillomas are sexually transmitted in familiar places. The risk of transmitting the infection to a sexual partner can be reduced by using a condom. However, this is not 100% protection, as transmission of the disease can occur when exposed areas of the skin come into contact. During periods of papillomavirus activity, it is best to refuse sexual intercourse altogether. The partner should definitely be informed of the presence of HPV.

Papules in other areas of the skin, for example on the hands and feet, can also be transmitted by contact: by shaking hands, touching contaminated railing of the simulator, walking barefoot in the shower, using a towel, linen or other cosmetics. In these cases, the prevention of the disease can be the observance of personal hygiene.

Sometimes the human papillomavirus reactivates. In some people, these are rare and isolated cases, while others suffer from multiple papillomas over and over again. It depends on the nature of the virus and the condition of the human body. Weak immunity, hormonal problems, stress and excessive lifestyle with bad habits contribute to the increased activity of the virus.

To prevent recurrent papillomavirus outbreaks, the immune system must be strengthened. This requires proper nutrition, exercise, good sleep, abstinence from alcohol and smoking, control of stressful situations. Taking care of your body health will allow you to avoid relapses and, over time, fully deal with papillomas.

How to cure papillomas

No drugs have yet been found to destroy the papillomavirus. However, human papilloma in most cases is removed from the body and without treatment, with the efforts of the immune system. Although the human papillomavirus itself cannot be treated with drugs, the warts that form as a result of the infection are therapeutic and quite effective. Papillary removal may be required several times, as if HPV remains in the body, they will recur over and over again.

There are various medical and traditional methods of treating papillomas. For example, removal of the affected layers of the skin with salicylic acid or cryotherapy (freezing with liquid nitrogen). The skin may change color and texture for a short time after exposure to nitrogen, but it recovers quickly. One of the ways to fight papillomas is through immunotherapy, which boosts the body's defenses. With this method of treatment, antibodies (vaccination) are injected into the body, which destroy the virus.

Acute cauterization and surgical removal with a laser or scalpel are also performed. Pointed papillae with the mentioned methods are removed in medical institutions, during several repetitive procedures. It should also be noted that medical methods of treating papillomas are much more effective than traditional ones.

Laser surgery is used when other methods have not helped to solve the problem or it is necessary to get rid of the beast quickly. Laser treatment can be applied to any part of the body, with its help it is possible to remove papillomas in familiar parts. The laser acts selectively without damaging healthy skin or creating scars. Slight redness or hyperpigmentation may occur, but this resolves quickly and the skin heals. Depending on the nature and size of the tumor, 1 to 3 laser procedures may be needed.

After successful treatment, you should visit a doctor annually for preventive examinations. In accessible places, the inspection for the presence of characteristic increases is carried out independently. It is also recommended to take preventive measures against the recurrence of the disease, strengthen the immune system, physical endurance and resistance to stress.

Papules, treatment with folk remedies

Along with medical methods to treat external signs of human papilloma in the body, there are proven folk remedies that can speed up recovery. Natural recipes must be used for a long time and regularly, only in this case it is possible to achieve a stable positive result.

  1. Traditionally, folk medicine suggests getting rid of papillomas with fresh selandin juice. The stem of the plant is cut and the affected skin is soiled with the "milk" that is released 2-3 times a day. Very often, the papillae disappear within a week or less, but sometimes a longer period of time is required.
  2. Known for its bactericidal properties, garlic can also be used to remove papillomas. Garlic juice is smeared with papules several times a day. You can apply a small plate on the affected area of skin at night and fix it with adhesive plaster. Remove the garlic in the morning, repeat several times if necessary.
  3. Mix the garlic gruel with vinegar, add a little flour to make the mixture creamy, spread on papillae, wrap in plastic wrap and leave overnight. In this case, healthy areas of the skin should be protected with adhesive plaster.
  4. Cold thyme broth, infused for 40-60 minutes, cool slightly and use in the form of lotion. You will need 10 or more treatments. The cold broth should be heated to a temperature of about 39 ° C.
  5. Steam the skin and apply soft propolis on it. Secure with plaster for 2-3 days. The procedure can then be repeated.
  6. Apply a fresh piece of Kalanchoe leaf to the affected area of skin and secure with plaster overnight. For treatment, the procedure must be repeated within 3 weeks. Similarly, you can use banana peels to remove nipples.
  7. Australian tea tree oil, due to its antifungal and antiviral properties, can be used to treat papillomas. Wet a cotton ball with a drop of oil, apply it to the skin area and fasten with adhesive plaster. For treatment, a long period is required, at least 1 month.
